I find it interesting to look back into Toby's older music, like a timeline of all the sounds and tunes he's used since he started out. It really makes you wonder how far back some of the songs and sound effects we most commonly asosiate with Undertale really go.

i think it's kind of funny how undertale's demo (which uses the laugh) was being developed at the same time as this song was being composed. they're actually only months between each other. i assume toby just really liked this sound effect at the time.

As an Undertale and Homestuck fan I can say. Yes. It's the same voice clip as Flowey's. Who cares. It's just a voice clip. I think we should be more concerned that this hasn't been used in a Homestuck Flash yet and it's just about over.

Had this song as my alarm for a while. Every time i hear it i have a mini heart attack.

The beginning: Calliope happily frolicking in a field of flowers, occasionally sitting in the shade of a beautiful tree to write in her Fanfiction book. Sudden Music Change: **A Wild Caliborn appears** Caliborn takes Cali's fanfic book, and chucks it into the mud, all the while tearing the pages, and suddenly everyone is dead. And I mean *everyone*. John, Dave, Karkat, Cali (especially her), Kanaya, Roxy, you name 'em, they're dead. Oh, and some dead children too. (Even though the aforementioned characters are still technically children too) They're there as well. Meanwhile, Caliborn sits, and screams about how they've all fallen victim to his little 'game'. All the while killing himself with laughter.

Fellow Undertale fans of the comment section, you do realize that's a stock demonic laughter that Toby Fox just likes to use, right?

For each song out there, there is a limited number of comments that are made about the song. This is not a description of the set of comments that can be made, but of the set of comments that will and have been made. This applies to smaller videos more than larger videos. If a sonv has 10 views, then it probably had 2 comments. Both of which are probably saying first. The types of comments are usually related to the video. You most often see either praise of the song, analysis (usually 0-3 which can be found easily), in-jokes, what ifs, or one word statements. Because of the limited number of ideas that will be voiced, people usually end up covering more of what that idea has to offer. For example, if 10 comments are made about a cat sound in a song, one of those may realize that the cat represents something that the others missed. It can be quite mind numbing reading through comments that repeat in such a way, but I find this pattern to be better than certain alternatives, those alternatives usually being a dead comment section, or a section that only has a small number of comments to begin with. As is probably obvious by the context of this video, I am referring to the flowey comments and the comments complaining about said flowey comments. The UT comments I don't have a problem with. I also don't have a problem with HS comments on UT soundtracks. They always end up somewhat repetitive, but thats just how comment sections tend to be. The comments referring to the UT comments are a similar story. I find those to be worse than the UT comments. Theses comments are not usually about the song in question when the UT comments are, sometimes have a theme of "silencing" comment that are irrelevant despite them being the contrary, and usually exaggerate the problem. Some examples of this are, "I just wanted to listen to HS music." You can still do that. If that's all you wanted to do, you got it. Another comment on another video said they went there to hide from the UT comments. Th ey acted as if this were a problem so bad that he couldn't listen to the video. My main problem with this is an issue it represents. I quite often find that there is a superiority complex of HS fans over UT. This is usually manifested in someone saying something reminds them of UT, but then the comments say that, "no, because HS came first, UT referenced HS." The original question almost never says that one was referencing the other, but people feel the need to put a direction to it when there is none. Some comments wish to drown out the UT comments with the Anti-UT comments. I have seen the effects that this has in other comment sections. The only comments I could find were ones trying to drown out the UT comments. It also alienates UT fans who weren't commenting anything. It made it impossible to find any discussion of the song at all. But I'm not inherently against these comments, i think these comments should have been made. If we point out something, it makes new discussion occur and let us move on in a conversation where everything was said.
