In today's vlog we officially welcome Christmas into our home. This year I did a lot of DIY Christmas decorations with emphasis on simplicity and using sustainable materials. I also bought some pieces from IKEA's Christmas 2022 collection. Nordic or Scandinavian Christmas is warm and simple, modern yet traditional. Join me as I decorate our home and bring that coziness of the festive season.

Hi There from Canada. Enjoyed your simple and classy decor. Not to heavy and overdone, just understated. At 70 years of age, I spent many years with loads of fake greenery and baubles. My style not gravitates to simple and understated not cluttered. Much easier to tidy and clean while it’s out and about and also adapt to seasons as they roll around. very lovely! i haven't experienced a white Christmas yet. Also, I have a sweet tooth, but I would never buy chocolates because i will eat them all in one sitting; i have zero self control.

Thank you! Advent candle is popular in Nordic countries. Some people use four candles representing four weeks of advent. I got the one with count down to Christmas day 😊

For me, everything you showed and I was able to see is interesting and beautiful! I really liked the pine wreath on the wall, the light houses, the plant with red berries in the vase! Hi, I bought that cushion cover from a Finnish home goods store called Pentik en.pentik.com/collections/saaga. The cushion I have in the video is no longer available but they have it in throw blankets and other stuff. They also have a similar one here en.pentik.com/search?q=tokka. They ship to EU countries although I am not sure outside of EU. I hope you find what you like 😊
