2 жыл бұрынIn the penultimate round of the Munich tournament of 1900, Harry Pillsbury lead the tournament by a half point and played back against the tail-ender Halprin. Pillsbury's foe, Geza Maroczy, had spotted a massive improvement on a previous game in the tournament and coached Halprin on the stunning line used in today's game.

I love setting up my queen and bishop to kill someone. You can set up checkmate in 5 moves or less using bishop and queen. The opponent can’t do a thing except admitting defeat.

I am trying to decipher lines where black doesn’t take on b6. Is it so bad to allow 0-0 rxa7 rb8 bxc7 qxc7?

Great video. Could you explain why white doesn't capture the bishop instead of the rook at 13:42, which allows black to unpin? It looks like black simpy lose queen and a bishop for a rook.

White loses both rooks and even though Queen + Bishop > 2 Rooks, White is already heavily down on material and it would leave him with no real attacking threats.
