Suggestion: Chess but a wheel decides my move - A Wheel that decides which chess piece you'll move (pawn,rook,bishop,knight etc) if the piece doesnt exist on the board then youll respin - Also There should be some bad things on the wheel like: lose/blunder your "(piece name)" and "flip the board" which flips the board (if you have the black pieces then it'll change to the white pieces) and "cant use (chess piece) which makes that piece frozen, it will get unfrozen if the wheel lands on this again with a new piece

One suggestion: Three strikes. Whenever one of your pieces moves, without capturing, it registers a strike. Should a piece make a capture, its strike count is reset. If a piece reaches three strikes, it is out and is removed from the chess board. Castling counts as a move for both the king and the rook. What is the best bot you can defeat with this limitation?

The stable: You must replace one bishop and rook with a knight (whichever of your choosing), and you have to checkmate with those 4 knights you have

The moment I opened the Spanish channel and played a video I was so surprised and thought how differently you sound in Spanish. Then I came back on this video to hear that your dad is the one doing voiceover so it all made significantly more sense

1. Out of phase chess: Any piece that moves except the king disappears from the board due to phasing out of plane for X number of moves. After X amount of turns, the piece phases back into plane. If the space is already occupied, the back in phase piece is destroyed. 2. Any piece that captures a piece turns into the piece it captures. Kings are potentially excluded from this rule.

Challenge idea: If you move a piece, you have to keep making moves with that piece until one of your pieces gets taken (and going back to the same square you were on in the last move is not allowed)

challenge: lightning chess. martin can summon a lightning at that square once another piece moves there if another piece moved on that square earlier in the game. the piece struck by lightning will perish and that square will be free to go again

Chess, but your king moves your pieces. In order to move a piece, your king has to be adjacent to the piece.

Something crazy I'd love to see is every time you capture a non queen piece it's removed but then upgraded and placed somewhere on board. To decide where it's placed (if you're playing white) start at a8 and try to place it, if the square is occupied go to b8, then c8 ect. If all of the 8 file is taken then go to a7 and continue until you get an open square. How the upgrading works, captured pawns promote to bishops or knights (whichever he has less of, if it's a tie do bishop) captured knights and bishops promote to rooks, captured rooks promote to queens, captured queens are permanently removed from the board

Some of these user ideas are so interesting. I wish someone would make a computer game with some of these limitations as available options, and a proper overlay. I would happily spend money on that.

Suggestion: Chess with martin but martin can make 2 moves in a row you would play has white to make it slightly more balanced ex: 1. e4 e5 nc6 2. Nf3 Nf6 d3 seems kind of chaotic but it might work

Chess, but your pieces are running out of gas. They can only move a distance of 8 throughout the game. Pick another number if that's too easy/hard. Diagonal moves are sqrt(2) and knight moves are sqrt(5).

"First to Glory" Vs. Martin: Your first 3 captures must be made with the king. You can move the other pieces whenever you want, but if the only way to stop a check is by using another piece to capture the attacker before your king has made the required 3 captures, you lose. Edited to both clarify and not make it too easy XD

Ok here is an idea for a challenge. You have to make the two long diagonals full of pieces (not at the same time and it can be with martins pieces too) before you checkmate.

I had an idea for "sticky pawns" where pawn moves will move adjacent (but id say not diagonal) pieces that are not the king with it (got this idea after slime chess)

Now you do the opposite: your pieces are ultra enthusiastic and so you have to keep moving until they have no moves or until the piece dies. You can choose what happens for checks, as in if you say you can get out of check or if you have to move your piece and, if the piece has no block for the check, you lose

I have an idea for a challenge. You can't move to or capture anything on the 4 center squares unless you are forced to by a check (only move possible). Play one of the lower intermediate bots. This can be a teaching moment to show the importance of control of the center.

If 'Frozen Chess' was a thing, then the king should be able to walk into checks that would be given by the frozen pieces.

Get 6 extra pawns, an extra knight and an extra bishop, and extra rook and an extra queen compared to a normal game. After Martin's move, which plays as white, choose which one of your pieces to *kaboom*, yeah, um, explode...

Suggestion: Brokeback chess. Your queen is replaced with a second king and Martin only has to checkmate one of them.
