Try to leave room for people who don't "always smile" as well, they are great too and should not be left out of the conversation. Ever heard the saying "don't judge a book by its cover" ? Kind of matches here with the whole "if there always smiling I must surround myself with them" concept. Ted Bundy was always smiling, and I don't think he was a good example. Rethink things before trying to make blanket statements, DUMMY.

Pia's live commentary on your Twitch Channel was fantastic and very touching. Of course you felt sad immediately after the game, but you were playing fabulous positional play for most of the match, just ran out of time a little. Love the content, well done.

Yeah, "a little bit low on time" is a quite a bit of understatement. I watched the game up until this moment and then I had to go, but I knew it would be impossible to avoid mistakes for another 13 moves with less than a minute against opponent's 15. It was literally a matter of time.

@@gtrmusic69 she gets very broken and feels TERRIBLE at times. But she forces herself not to show it too much in her vids. It breaks my heart too, when i notice it. Hikaru nakamura is GREAT at keeping his sanity and attitude in hard times. But he too, is very human.

Just remember that you are living your dream. I grew up way before the internet with no one to play and no where to learn. I fell in love with chess when I was 9 but there was no opportunity. I love watching you and the other streamers and learning. I am finally OK with losing knowing that I can learn from each game. I used to get so depressed thinking I was not making progress, but now I just do my best and love the beauty of the game.

Aw, i didnt watch the match but i could tell by thumbnail this one didnt end well. You played very solid game though, must be so stressful. Glad you aren’t letting it get to you too much, but of course you wont feel great after a loss. This is such a great vlog series so far, i love how you have two loving GM parent’s supporting you its so wholesome.

I play alot of blitz but don't have the nerves for classical. Great job hanging tough in this tournament, though. Despite the loss, it was quite a fight.

i think giving up the bishop pair on such an open board with all the center pawns traded off was a mistake, even if the engine doesn't say so it will always be much easier for the opponent to play.

Anna, I think you are delightful (and a much better chess player than I am!) and I really like seeing you with your parents. They must have been great parents to raise someone like you (I know I am making these based only on the evidence of what I see in your videos, but I like seeing how you and they relate). In my first over the board tournament a lost a game so bad in just few moves, but i shake hands to my opponent and i didnt want to get angry with him because the fault was mine ☺️ so i just said "i made too many errors" And some days after, i finished the tournament with a point more of that opponent that defeated me so easily. Youre right at the end, we are not enemies 😊 we are battling against ourselves
