@@vatri357 mmm had an Afghani sheik tell me once that what a person does in their home is their business. As far as I know theirs nothing mentioned about plants in the Quran, regarding prohibition and what not, nor is it ever mentioned in the bible, since I studied both once upon a time, again the bible practically states, that alcohol should be used to control the workforce, that's old testament stuff. It's never mentioned in any of the hadiths that I've read, their are alot though so I could be wrong, and as far as I'm aware Muhammad never said anything in regards to plants. I won't say I've read everything or that I'm a scholar of depth, but from what I've read it wasnt an issue. Only alcohol is Haram. More then likely it's to keep other people from controlling people in duplicitous manipulative means that benefit greed or power, which is ironically exactly how alot of modern day drugs are used by people on other people, even the "good" drugs, approved by big pharma. Then again telling people the why of a thing usually results in clever morons attempting to use substances to do exactly that against your brothers and sisters. Knowledge is a double edged sword. Then theirs the whole Afghani kush, and that hashish is pretty common in that area.

If a human found that move- it would uniornically be better than any win made by anyone in history of chess. Regular stalemate are already super insane. i love this stuff. engine moves give so much insight into the foresight required in chess. Most GMs honestly have just memorized positions. Its when you see these genius sequences that really make you appreciate whats happening. so many OTB's are just opening shuffles to try and trap an opponent into a 1 pawn advantage to boringly squeeze the life out of them, or just forcing a draw by repetition if the idea they are going for gets stymied

7:45 I didn't think AI _could_ resign. Don't they always play it out? Especially between two AIs?
@rbarreira2
@rbarreira2 Жыл бұрын
These games where an AI "resigns" are usually from computer chess tournaments that have specific rules on when an engine resigns. It's not coming from the engine itself.
@rbarreira2
@rbarreira2 Жыл бұрын
For example, the TCEC 11 rules say: "Games which are apparently decisive are terminated by TCEC if both engines consistently agreed for the last eight plies that the evaluation is at least 6.5 or at most -6.5."

I played with someone before and got stalemated. I only had a king left on the board btw. He/she asked if I was cheating, and it was clear to me that he/she didn’t know that stalemate was a thing. Stalemate is very much a skill, just like any other skills in chess.
@ovoj5631

Stalemate with just a king in a normally losing position is not a skill it's just a misplay by the opponent

In the game between Houdini and stockfish it was actually a endgame with Houdini having 2 bishops for a queen which is a theoretical win but takes 77 moves so it overrides 50 move rule and is a technical draw but houndini just resigned that endgame maybe cuz it had the tablebase in it and it realised and its lost... (maybe it didnt have 50 move rule knowledge) also fun fact houndini was banned from computer championships later since its later versions contained almost identical stockfish code

Just a suggestion: don’t skip through to different points in the game. Most of us are fine if you just quickly click through but are very interested in every move! I also think most of us are very willing to watch the videos even if slightly longer. Still, awesome video, thanks levy!

Levy trying to bully stockfish in this episode so he can ignore the fact that he misses all types of brilliant tactics. Levy just admit your jealous of stockfish because the computer destroyed you in your game against Dewa Kipas.
