Comedians on Board (COB) 5 witnessed a very interesting exhibition match when IM Levy Rozman (GothamChess) took on IM Sagar Shah. It was an exciting game with super GM Vidit Gujrathi commentating along with Samay Raina. Ok actively playing chess and analyzing it is different but the amount of time sagar spends analyzing chess is just unbelievable .

Sagar is out of touch with competitive chess I think and it showed. Still, well played to both of them. It was an entertaining stream.

I think it is more related to time management rather than just getting dominated. He found some best moves which were not anticipated. But that requires time and in shorter time formats is harder.

This is work ethics at its finest. After a 4.5 hrs of continuous commentating in a tournament, he analysed a game, immediately after he lost. If it was me I would have said, kal kar lunga.

not crush him levy is super strong after all. But it will be a fight to watch. ( I think levy has an advantage in blitz and bullet but sagar bhai has a big advantage in classical , rapid is close but i think levy has slightly better odds )
