Chester, farma g, skinnman are fkn legends!

Just going by your artwork and your appreciation of Chester P you should probably check out one of his earliest releases as part of Task Force called “Grafforiginees”, it’s an absolute classic that has been banged out on SO MANY stereos, late at night, with the smell of spray paint in the air!

Most of his older stuff is often this kinda introspective, vaguely mystical lyrically, 80-90bpm type feel. I liked that a lot. In fact, back in the day, I loved it. But in the late 00s, rap was speeding up in the UK due to the growth of grime and he picked up the pace on his album From The Ashes, either through faster beats or faster rhymes. He also got more specific with his lyrics and rapped about real life more instead of so many abstract ideas like mysticism or philosophy. I think it was his best stuff. Or at least, it still feels and sounds relevant. The older stuff sounds pretty dated now to my ears. But I understand if you're new to Chester P then you wanna check out the whole picture including the old stuff.

This reminded me of something I think you'll be into.....Rhyme Asylum "art of raw" trust me. Along with Taskforce Jehst massively unheard old skool classics.
