Definitely not an elite protector, you need to take into account the fact that he’s guarding guys the size of a guard and mostly camping at the rim. At times he’ll block a perimeter shot, but that’s expected at his size and the skill level he plays at. His ball handling is okay, but his hang time on the ball (especially with his crossovers) is so slow it’s ridiculous.

He does have pretty good handles, shoots well from mid range and outside especially for a 7 ft player, but it’s hard to see him preforming well on either end in the low post or at the rim at the college level unless he gains weight to be able to deal with contact better. However, I think the potential is there, for sure. He seems to have a pretty competitive mindset too, hopefully that determination serves him well as progresses to college and the competition gets better.

He’s not as good as he’s being hyped. I get it’s a weak class, but unless he develops a ton in college, he’s not going pro. He has the tools for sure, but his style of play isn’t suited for the nba like most think. He’s a spot up stretch big, yea. But he also tends to iso guards and smaller dudes, which trust me, with his handles is not smart. He tends to miss a bunch of easy looks under the rim, and most of his blocks come from camping under the rim and stuffing guards (which there is nothing wrong with, but it’ll make him look like a way more elite rim protector than he really is against more stiff and athletic players). I hope he does good, but I wouldn’t waste a scholarship offer on him.

His handles are okay but the ball has way to much hang time for him to actually be dribbling like that in the NBA. He has a solid jumper but he definitely won’t be making his own shots at the professional level, and probably not outside of 15 feet at a college level (he’s a spot up shooter outside of 15). Great size in terms of length, but needs to add to his frame in the most critical way. His rim defense looks good, but that’s because he’s D’ing up a bunch of kids that aren’t near his size in terms of height (defense will be exposed in college). His ability to finishing under the rim is exceptionally crafty at times, but with his lack of muscle, probably won’t be nearly as consistent as it needs to be. He misses a lot of easy layups that are contested by smaller defenders who aren’t even actively contesting his shots. His passing is a bit above average for a big at best. I’d say his most redeeming trait would definitely be his ability to spot up shoot from outside the 3 as a big, but other than that, he’s kinda just a slow, tall, decent ball handling hooper that’s taking advantage of his height against smaller dudes on weak teams. I’d call him a very diluted mix bet bol bol and Zhou Qi (35/65) that at best will be mid 2nd round pick, most likely undrafted. Hopefully he ends up being the next big thing, but it’s not looking good. I’d put his 2k potential at a solid 73 😂😂
