I have bought and sold a dozen LEPs. They're so fun to use, but man I hate the green & purple tint of most LEP's hotspots. When I heard the ODIN had a yellow beam, I had to try it!

The Odin Turbo is $250. Pretty affordable.

I had heard that the Oden had a different tent cool to see it in use. Thanks for sharing! A sidenote about the haptic feedback, Olight uses that in their Warrior series as well, the lights that don't have side switches use that system for battery monitoring.

this is the odin turbo with 330 lumen. regular odin is led with 2000 lumens.

yeah just noticed that as well. 2000 lumen lep made me instantly click but i quickly found out its just a normal 300k cd lep

Cheule, don't get me wrong, I love flashlights but I never understood leps. Is there an use for them or are they just gadgets like laser pointers?
@mikeenslin3009 Жыл бұрын
well they just have insane range. Plus having no spill can be handy in some situations. But yeah most of the time a led light will have way more use. Its also something you have to see in real life i guess, it doesnt come across that well on video

I do question their usefulness if I’m walking around or hiking. But if I’m standing in my backyard, not wanting to annoy my neighbors, no spill is awesome!

@@cheule weltool w5 sounds interesting. Would have definitely been my pick as well until I came across the nextorch T20L, it has almost 1000 lumen and a very large Hotspot, still 1m candela. Not sure if you're gonna like the tint tho haha

I have the Weltool Yellow filter for my W4P, and I concur. The only thing is that there is definitely a lumen/candela loss with it.

Wont see anything aproaching from the side, just see what its directly pointed at. Horrible when sweeping inside of a building or any close quarters for that matter. Must have a flood function or at least allow some kind of spill

I have been using it with the Oring as a handheld light. I don’t use weapons, but I see your point.

Lol that's why there are dozens of different beam varieties so that you can tailor your flashlight to your specific needs you silly, silly goose.
@squirts1 Жыл бұрын
You play too much call of duty. Clearly this light was not intended for room clearing... "weapon light" is not = "cqb light" A weapon mounted super throw/spot is useful for long range night hunting. Spill is completely useless when you're looking down a scope at 500m or 1000m +
