The method I used was super efficient to sleek down thick type 4 natural hair without excessive amounts of products, no heat, and no flaking. The key to a sleek ponytail on natural hair is doing it in sections. I hope this tutorial was helpful and enjoyable.

⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Love your videos!!! You are absolutely correct about leave in conditioner 😢, leave residue n flakes. I have 4c hair and what work for me is Old School Blue Magic on scalp and ends of my hair, Yellow Gorilla Snot, Jam n Shine extra hold (orange jar), and purple Edge Booster maximum hold work well mix together. It last 4-5 days with no flakes and don’t move. If it’s really humid I might have to dip my brush in hot water brush to smooth out fly always from sweating within 3 days with a quarter size gorilla snot to lay down then wrap my hair up. Then mi good to go. I found Got2B make my hair feeling sticky. It work but I don’t like the sticky feel.

Hey Sweetie, for longterm, use the weave needle and thread and sew the ponytail into the band to keep it from coming off.
