My father (72) just bought his 5th corvette and wanted to finally modify one of the newer and cherry examples he’s owned. This will be a godsend to show him and just let his ears pick one out instead of price shopping something where price shouldn’t matter as much as sound/performance and quality. Thanks!!!

Great video, very informative. For me, and my '04 Lemanns it's the Corsa axle back ( sport/ pace car) by a mile. It sounds refined, with a touch of Euro smoothness, without losing the American thunder. Plus, Corsa guarantees no droning at any speed.

04:49 SLP Loudmouth Its that breath of air it sounds like the V8 is taking when letting off the throttle. That rasp is perfect to me.

When I bought my 03Z06, within a month I had it apart putting on headers and exhaust. Make sure you get a tune, because you will need it for sure.

The Borla Atak and Bola S Type sound like there swapped??? I have the Borla S Type on my car and it sounds more like what there depicting as the Atak.

3:33-:34 seems to be the ONLY POP! Magnaflow de-cell is unique with cackle and pop. I'm not hearing that in any other brand.

They would all sound much better with an X pipe and high flow (or no) cats. I can tell most of them are still running the stock H pipe and cats setup.

I have excess power inch and seven eights headers, X pipe and the SLP widemouth axle back, high flow cats and muffler delete. Needless to say it’s pretty loud, and I have not even put a cam in it yet.
