I used both the center support and the outer ones that bolt on behind the headlights and be used on the 75 to 80 core supports. That's what I did.

A much easier and faster way would be, just swap out the core support. It can be done in about 6 hours. Not fabricating needed. You can also paint it and add new bushings in at the same time.

That requires you to have a 73-74 core support wich most people probobly don’t have in their backyard. With this you don’t need anything besides your truck and a welder.

Not unless you replace the entire front clip with a 75 - 80 front clip.

If you are a hyper person, OK, but if you are calm and low-keyed, no. You will never get around to doing it. You will want to just lay around and munch!
