If you want best of both worlds, install the Borla ATAK, and also install the QTP Aggressor Dual Valve Exhaust cutouts so you can go straight pipe with just a switch.

That's actually the stock H-pipe on the stock catback, with the resonators towards the end of the mid pipes, cut off. Many 5th gen Camaro V8 owners opt for an x-pipe, in order to get rid of the "clappy" H-pipe exhaust tone. You can technically just swap the stock H-pipe for an X-pipe, in the stock catback, while leaving the resonators, to kill off some rasp. The stock piping catback is a full 2.5" inch system, so you can just swap the stock mufflers for some better ones; maybe get some bolt-on flanges, or v-band flanges, if you want to have easier disassembly and less leaks from typical slip-fit exhaust joints.

Learn your exhaust a straight pipe is when you delete the catalytic converters and mufflers and run a straight pipe. You work at an exhaust shop and call muffler deletes straight pipes yes you replaced them with a pipe but as long as you do not remove the catalytic converters its not a straight pipe.

5th Gen is way too silent for me.
