The rocks really chunked off the rubber. Mike (@jakesz28) just replaced them with a different brand.

It's hard to tell in the video but it was raining the entire time we were up there. Everything was covered in a greasy mud. Our buddy who's made it up also couldn't do it that day. These are 37's and we run them for everything, it's a daily driver. We have 80k miles on it and have driven it all across the country. We also have 4.56 gears. We run the Nitto trail grapplers on our H3 Hummer and they have been great. The only issue is lack of siping for icy driving. Mike wanted to try the patagonia's because the 37's weighed the same as the 35's we have. When we first mounted them they were super quiet, zero road noise. We are still undecided if we would purchase them again, they only have about 4K miles on them.

People either love the Patagonia tires or hate them. They are priced well, might be a little soft. Which will definitely help with traction. The one thing I have to say is it did not matter what tires you had that day. The only way you were getting up the wall was full send with momentum. That is not the way I wheel so I pulled cable. If it was dry I would have walked right up that wall.

You have a BDS lift + AEV fenders to clear those 37's? Are you running any skidplate underneath?

ditto on the wildpeaks... I have 35's on my wrangler and they are awesome.. 65k miles and still plenty of tread left too...

These are actually prototype rock sliders from Chassis Unlimited. They made up this set but never put them into production. Jakesz28 /my husband/driver in this video actually made me steps out of bent tubing that slid over the factory rock sliders. We saw that someone is using that same design now and is selling them. ~ Sally

It was filmed on 8/28/22, we were in Colorado for about 3 weeks on that trip and this was our first weekend out there.

Yes, we usually bring enough gear to stay out camping and off roading for 3 weeks when we make it out to Colorado.

If it could get to the wall, I'd agree. Hoping for round 2 this summer.

Take two this year! Can't wait to go. Nothing wrong with the spotter, he's a good friend that we've wheeled with for years. We had 1000 mile drive back to the Ozark Mountains, no need to break the truck.

He's a great friend and a good spotter. We has been wheeling with him for years. He recently got us out of a tippy situation in Sand Hollow.

The spotter had nothing to do with it. The rain, sleet, and mud is what made it harder.

Trash carrier...better than having garbage fall out the bed of the truck.
