I just swapped the blower motor on my 2014 Equinox thanks to this video! THANK YOU!!!!!! I have heat again! Instead of spending $450-500 at the dealer, I did this myself for under $60 (Blower motor from Rock Auto). Took me less than an hour in the cold, only really difficult part is working in the tight space under the dashboard. Great instructions, HUGE help. Thank you again.

just curious, would this be same for 2011 buick enclave too? my hvac fan up front is working but seems not very full, or hard? so thinking its the blower resistor, thoughts? its ice cold, and can switch from panel to floor, goes up some but not much

So my issue is that is a noise coming from under the dash wasn't working than all of a sudden it started working again what could it be

Hello. What kind of problems were you experiencing prior to switching out the resistor and the blower motor?

Jacqueline Bankhead my AC was going on and off at random times and would sometimes turn on full blast if I would go over a bump. I first switched out the resistor and kept having the same problems. I switched out some sensors and same thing. I took it to a shop when my ac wasn't working and they literally smacked the blower motor and it turned on. The mechanic told me I had to switch out the blower motor and the connector. Luckily he didn't charge me to just look at it. He advised that I should get the connector from the dealership because other connectors eventually melt. (Not sure how true this is but I still bought it from Chevy). My AC has been working great since! Hope this helps :)

No I don’t sorry. What is your issue with the blower? Only one speed? Or no blower at all?

Sergio Diaz I actually just replaced the blend door actuator on this car about a week ago. It would make a click noise. I opened up the old part and found broken teeth on the plastic gears. This car will need timing chain and guides soon. Sounds horrible at start up cold.

@@kellyjung283 thats the problem i'm having on My the actuator is Bad i Heard gear noises everytime i put the key on then it stoped working know My air bents only blow air from the floor and no hay to change the seting ...

Sergio Diaz it is not hard at all it is also near the blower the little plastic gears break inside.
