So this was only the u joints bad not the rear end?

My 05 Silverado has a very similar sound happening but ONLY when I let off the gas. While accelerating the noise does not appear. There’s don’t seem to be play in my u-joint but I guess it’s worth a shot to change it.

mine is not the U joints. i replaced the u joints and still the same slow speed rhythmic clunking
