Chevy S10 with 3 Point Hitch and 7ft Box Blade

Electric 3 point hitch modified to work with my S10 truck. Works great.

I use the Kolpin DirtWorks 3-point Cat 0 electric hitch on my Jeep Wrangler. Works great.

A friend of mine uses a degelman I think it's called as a pull plow in the winter works great

The 3 point isn't too hard but the PTO would be a lot more difficult.

That positive wire to the battery needs a fuse as close as possible to the battery or your just asking for a fire. If that wire rubs through anywhere along that frame and grounds out, there is nothing to break the circuit. Like cheech and chong.... Up in Smoke.

The dually would look badass with a back blade on it my friends on his 2500 Chevy has so much down pressure it will lift the rear tires off the ground

You should switch the 3 point over to the dually in the fall make a bigger blade with boxed in sides it would make it so much easier on you when your up near the garages especially with the width of that dually you could back right up pull it all out in the middle and stack it away also the open fields you plow the boxed in back blade would cut down on the windrows you leave if it's out a few feet on either side of the back of the dually you could cover twice as much ground no need for new plow

I have no doubt it could be used for snow but I prefer my snow plow.

That is an idea but not sure this 3 point would hold up to that much work. It has an electric actuator. Really it is made for a atv/utv. The s10 might push it too hard. Time will tell.

You said a friend had a box blade for his 2500 chevy. A very strong unit , was it bought or made ?

Not sure if you still monitor this video but I was wondering did you build the 3 system or can they be bought for trucks?

spudrubble They do make electric 3 points that go into a 2" receiver hitch. This one I had to weld the receiver on it. I can't think of the name right now but they are used on utv's and atv's. If you look up utv 3 point you should find them. This hitch is not made for trucks. Grading gravel I didn't have any problems. If you caught a stump and gunned it you would probably break something. Use your head and you could do a lot with this setup without breaking anything.

thank, yeah just looking to do some light work keeping things looking good on the place is all, no fresh clearing or anything. I kind of guessed if one wanted to do a bit of raw field or fresh dozed area leveling then likely would have to nibble at it and be careful. Would beat buying a tractor for just little stuff now and then. I got me an old 3/4 4x4 I aint afraid to hurt. Wish I was a welder, looks like a pretty easy thing to fabricate up if one was able to have the knowledge to use a welder and smarter than I am at measuring up.

It's a Polaris atv 3 point. I had it on my Polaris Ranger for a short time. If you look up "UTV 3 point" online you should be able to find them.
