Today we took our trail bosses out in East San Diego County and hit a decent trail. Had the blast the whole time! I can't wait for the next one!

I am glad to see some actual 4x4 in the trail boss. I just got my 2021 z71 lt trailboss and can’t wait to send it!

Are y’all running any lifts or is this with the stock suspension from the dealership?

i did this with my '24 2.7 turbomax, its on 35s, additional 2 inch lift, new steel bumpers, replaced rancho shocks, added a clear braw over doors, hood, quarter panels. 2.7 is much lighter in the front and easier to offroad or getup and go

It'll handle the trail. The blue truck has the 6.2. Only thing it didn't try was the steep climb at the beginning of the video. Owner didn't want to mess with air in the tires.

A front selectable locker would help… don’t know if it’s been done on these trucks

It's risky due to how the front suspension is built. Plus if you get a lift and bigger wheels. That front stock suspension won't last. I have Z71 6.0 . I removed the G80 auto locker and got an electronic locker. Best move for off Roading

You should have never stopped coming up that hill and make sure traction control is off! Why did you have a congratulatory party when the trail Boss failed and needed rocks to get it up? That was a miserable fail!
