A little tip I've learned with those wrenches is to wrap a small amount of electrical tape around the flexible joint. It still allows the joint to swivel but holds the angle you need a bit better.🍻

I had to laugh when you were trying to hold the camera, balance yourself and get that bolt off at such a weird angle....then the wrench tried to jump out of your hand...LOL Great job at showing how to change out those parts.

Thanks for the Video.... Thank You for showing the Boxes with the P/N's. I have had a hard time finding out what was actually the correct part and not just some generic one size fits all. Also GM seems to have discontinued the Solenoid. Regards.

Your welcome. I try to make it easy for everyone. Dosnt surprise me gm did. I used a standard brand but other brands will have them too.

@@EfurdGarage Thank You again...Everybody and their brother has the EGR Valve.... but trying to find that Solenoid was looking dim. I'm still in the process of testing, but not finding the solenoid may buy me some time with the Smog Nazi's.👍👍👍👍

great video, although i was not changing my egr valve. i was looking for vacuum line hookup locations and which one was EGR sensor and which was map sensor. video wss great for that as well. Thank you for your video

On the EGR control solenoid which port do you hook the EGR vacuum line to? The one thats smooth or the one with a kind of barbed end? Mine is missing the piece of foam/sponge that one clue me in on which one. Also dude, I know it's natural light but I really appreciate the fact that I can see everything you're doing very well. Most of the time it's in a dark garage with a guy wiggling a flashlight and it's really hard to see. Thanks

the barbed in will be the one for vacuum. The foam is a filter for fresh air. Thank You

Could you use rubber lines in place of all those plastic lines? About fed up with them splitting or breaking in half everytime they get touched

That is the down side of the hard plastic, they hold good vacuum and dont collapse but over time they break. You can use rubber just make sure its a good vacuum hose that dosnt collapse on its self when its getting vacuum
