*PLOT:* A gang of outlaws takes over El Dorado, a ghost town, just before gold is rediscovered there. With the boom comes easy money for Gils Brandon and his henchmen. Tex Ritter is a really young, slim actor before he went to Tex Ritter films w/more singing and recording.

Some of this movie is the same as "Bad man from Red Butte." I'm mean exactly.

This appears to be the pre to the JMB Bad Man from Red Butte. Similar story line followed in that film.

The person who posted this thinks a revealing mistake is that a sign identified Gils Brandon as C Brandon rather than G Brandon! I think the bigger mistake is the title of the movie being Cheyenne Roundup, Cheyenne is in Oklahoma or Wyoming, your choice, and El Dorado is in California, geographically this movie is all over the map!!!

Pure honest entertainment, loved it, but.....at 48:35-ish, they sing "cheap at half the price" oh, duh....it should have been "cheap at twice the price"......right?

Tone, WHY does the year for this movie at the bottom of the screen NOT be the SAME year that is listed on the MOVIE ITSELF, the year listed below the screen is 1943 when ACTUALLY on the movie itself is 1942........i'm going with the year that is ON THE MOVIE.......1942 ! KZfaq or whoever puts these OTHER dates on these movies seems to do it A LOT especially with these b/w movies. When the movie itself CLEARLY states a specific year WHY does youtube (or whomever) almost always goes to the next year instead of listing the movies year for the SAME YEAR THAT IS LISTED ON THE MOVIE ? Very annoying !
