well they are both chinese made and most likely same manufacture......i remember when the first year these where made i had ordered the high ram in black and had to wait 8 months cause china was having casting issues......then a coating issue for the black coatings.....alot of holleys stuff is sadly made in china

Why would anybody buy this sht? This thing is WAY too expensive! The fact that the first step you should take is to run it through the band saw, then cut yourself a flange and weld that on. If it was $279, possibly $379 I'd understand why people do it, but a real one barely costs anymore! If I make a big purchase, $750 and $1000 feels the same, so I'd spend once on a Holley. I physically CANNOT bolt an intake port to my cylinder head that is THAT different! You could get one for the wrong engine and it'd be closer than that!! Str8 trash!!
