... and now for something completely different, Petty plays a rare bird. Never expected to see you play this tank! I don't see the Japanese line played very often. Perhaps if WG would buff the line, we'd see them more. Happy New Year from California, and get well soon. Cheers!

Currently at tier IX of this line, the Chi Ri one of the few that i enjoyed so far. The Sta 1 was a nightmare experience stock and fully upgraded.

This thing needs a little buff. Not a lot. Just add a little view range, maybe an extra degree of gun depression, and definitely buff the penetration to a fairly modest 160mm on standard and ~190-200 on the APCR. That'd do nicely.

I like the Chi-Ri, that autoloader is fun to use buts it's a nightmare when not top tier. Even though it's a quite old one I immediately recognised that second replay, I was in the Jackal on the other team. Was my very first battle in that tank if I remember correctly. I'm pretty sure you enjoyed that battle more than I did 😂

Like the Chi-Nu I enjoy both these tanks and have put permanent camo on both of them as they got good DPM and no good armour 🤪🤞. If u have both the IS-2 Russian premium tank and the Chinese IS-2, which u think is the stronger tank.., I have kept the Chinese IS-2 since I unlocked it years ago, and of late just received the IS-2 Russian premium; I know Chinese has HEAT and premium IS-2 uses APCR as it's premium shell. Thanks Petty, for all you have done this past year in WOT's/community, wishing u a good start to 2023👍🍻🙏

Personally, I think the Chinese one is better. It has less armor, but the gun seems to handle better, and the prammo is better. A little faster since it's lighter. I seem to have really terrible luck every time I play my Russian IS-2, and not the Chinese one. But it might just be me.

Chinese one is better for the Pen on the premium but the Prem one can be nice and it makes credits too

I didnt have much luck with the Russian tech tree IS-2 and didnt bother much with it just got quickly through it as i wld always go back to the Chinese IS-2. Funny WG took of the muzzle break of as in one of yr earlier videos a year ago. All the other IS-2's do not share the HEAT shell including the Bear., I did loose my MOE from mine., i will one day put camo on it as i prefer this Chinese one to.. Thanks Petty.. Al best👍👌

@@magisterrleth3129 Thank you much for yr thoughts and replying, I was watching year old Chinese IS-2 videos as I remember their was a muzzle brake on its top gun module., I cant remeber if the stats of that gun have been nerfed, but i remember this gun is the only one of the IS-2's that has the HEAT rounds, all others inc the bear use APCR as its premium shell. As Petty wrote the Chinese IS-2 is lighter/quicker and gets more pen on its HEAT shells than the others., I reckon i will sell the premium one, as also i got the Hydra of late dont need so many similar premium tanks, I alaways need silver more frequently. @michaelwills543 Thanks. BTW, you should try the Russian tech tree IS with the 100mm gun, that was my preferred weapon. 175mm AP penetration, 235 APCR, and it has pretty rocking DPM. Also, it gets an extra degree of gun depression, better accuracy, and better gun handling. Overall, an excellent weapon, I used it to get two gun marks.

I play it to humiliate people with lul. Its just a meme. I remember it being called the defender killer back then on PC, cause WG claimed it could fight against the new premium Defender no problem 😂.
