Coconut Palm Sugar Sago Kuih / Gula Melaka Sago Kueh is a traditional dessert in southeast Asia. It's sweet, soft and chewy with coconut flavor. No egg vegan dessert recipe.
Ingredients:
160 g (1 cup) sago pearls
80-100 g (± 1/2 cup) Palm sugar / Gula Melaka
120 ml (1/2 cup) coconut milk
1/8 tsp salt
25 g (1/3 cup) desiccated coconut
15 g (3 Tbsp) desiccated coconut

Usually I put little bit dark soy sauce in palm sugar mixture, just for the dark color.

The texture will be hard, if you put in the fridge.

You can keep them in the fridge for few days or freezer for few weeks and reheat them in Microwave
