Today’s video is not what you’d expect from a usual Airgun Alley video, where we explore a product from a whole variety of angles, by putting it to the test and finally drawing a conclusion.
The conclusion in this video comes very early, unfortunately.
I hate doing negative reviews, especially when such nice, hardworking people are the ones who handed me the guns to help them get visibility. But at Airgun Alley we always aim for the truth and always let the images speak…
Thankfully a classic CO2 Crosman Vigilante saved the day and this video is truly A MUST WATCH.

Hey, things don't always work out and it's definitely not your fault, as always honest and frank and I'm sure every subscriber admires you for it, hopefully they will fix the problem one day but don't stress as you have plenty of others to test, entertaining as always!

Year after year after year the vigilante has held up against the so called best of C02 airpistols. If they're more powerful, the vigilante had more shots, quicker mag loading, more shots, longer pellets, etc. Still the best p4p CO2 airpistol. Thanks for the work🥊💥

And this is what it’s about, making an informed purchase through research albeit someone else’s research. The pistol looked a little busy to deal with but the fact that it does not even come close to functioning correctly is the big let down. As always, a great vid and the editing just gets better and better!

Your first airgun was the Vigilante? My first airgun was a Crosman 760, back around 1980. Unfortunately, the 760, though still made, is a mere shadow of what it used to be. The older ones had a solid steel rifled barrel, and a sturdy metal receiver. Now they're almost all plastic, with an unrifled metal tube inner barrel sleeve. It's so far from what it once was, they shouldn't even market it under that name. My second airgun was a Crosman 1851 Shiloh. They were only made for like 2 or 3 years back in the early 80's. I recently managed to acquire two of them, and have them both working... one was a particular surprise, it was still new in it's original box. After decades of sitting, its seals had crumbled and needed replaced, but I got it taken care of. As far as the Vigilante, it's internally the same as the old Crosman Model 357 from the 1980's. They reskinned it some years back to give it some rails and a more tacticool look. But it was always a good, solid, reliable CO2 gun.

I just bought a new vigilante, it's so much better made than my original. Just be gentle on the hinge clip.

Quite a nice looking gun.That brand makes very strange looking revolvers both firearms (.357 Magnum only I believe) and CO2.

I started out like 'whao!, that's so awesome!, to 'wait, what?, to 'aawwwe...' The 2bl Co2 seamed to work. The weird loading idea should've been scrapped. then they would have something.

Wah????? I watch the results & can't help thinking you must be missing something simple but fundamental because who would possibly send something so non-functional for review? Then I think there's no way with your experience that could possibly be. Disappointing and perplexing. Thanks for this though as I love the Beretta platform and so look for pellet & bb replicas for my collection. The only thing is, I do want to fire them.
