The sad story of the kind and upright Lieutenant Zhang Bu Xun was the arc that I found to be the most interesting part in "The Lost Tomb 2". I actually wished it was longer because I was enjoying the backstory so much.
I really loved Zhang Bu Xun's character and felt so sad what happened to him. I wish he had followed a better leader who shared the same ideals and goals as him. Someone like Fo Ye of "The Mystic Nine" would have been a perfect leader for him to work with but sadly, they never met as Fo Ye was stationed in Changsha. It's such a pity that someone as emphatic and upright as Lieutenant Zhang Bu Xun ended up with a tragic fate.
On a side note, I really loved the brotherhood of Lieutenant Zhang and Adjutant Dou Cheng. The actors' chemistry here is as good as it was in "Love and Redemption". Out of all Huanrui agengy's actors, I like Han Cheng Yu's chemistry with Cheng Yi the most. :)
