This video shows how to bend an offset using a Chicago bender, I explain how to use an Accu-bend in order to not get a dog leg in an offset. The using of a protractor will make your bends easy to get a more accurate degree of bend.

Im an industrial electrician and dont bend conduit often. I mostly do troubleshooting and work on installed equipment. But when i do have to bend conduit its been a while so its nice for a refresher video. Nice job

Klein has a digital level. It's great because you can zero it and don't have to get the bender on a level surface.

you could also use a short piece of uni-strut on the conduit held on by a uni-strut strap and level the strut as well if you dont have one only problem I seen with the video is that when you made the marks on the conduit you not explain where the mark on the conduit lies in the shoe

How did you do the math to get 12 in between? I recently landed a nice career opportunity building PCR buildings. Also, can you do a video bending 45* offsets!? Thank you for the information as well!

Always double your number if using 30 degree offsets. It’s the easiest one to remember.. 6” offset x 2 =12…. 8” offset = 16” and so on.
