Here's an overhead - view performance of my tune "Blues In The Night" which is available on my CD - "Boogie Woogie Piano".
This was filmed at Monk's Jazz Club in Austin, TX

You've really got that Spann thing down... it's not easy to do the thing he did so effortlessly where you keep free time in the right hand with trills and runs while holding a steady rhythm down in the left hand. There's a reason there are no good tutorials on Spann's style online: very few people can do what he did. You've got it, brother!

There are a load of very good blues/boogie pianist on you tube, but Henri stands head and shoulders above them all. Don't know what it is maybe he's just 100th of a second more accurate on the beat, or maybe it's his love of the genre that comes across. Keep it up Henri!!

definitely keep that kind of content, small musical video multiple time a week will definitely bump you up in the algorithm. it's the thirds video like that i've been watching (& like👍) this week and i love it! the set, the piano, the blues....ouff! and that jacket, that what progress look like on the tube KEEP IT UP😎

Very Nice.. I have an old Otis Spann album and the Fathers and Son albums he played on and always loved his stuff. Sounds very similar.
