I love how Lt. Casey had Herrmann's and Mouch's support too. As veteran firefighters, it most likely proved to Lt. Casey that he wasn't alone in this. Their prensence must have been so comforting.

Insubordination is only an issue when your subordinates don't respect you as a leader. A true leader would have reprimanded Otis for his actions (even if he made a great save) without the childish insults. How someone who puts their fragile ego above all else got a leadership role is beyond me.

Understandable if you were all rested but he was tired. Just did his job hence he tripped. How dare you insult a firefighter! You almost did nothing. Even if you have a higher rank, that is no excuse to insult him. And you have the balls to be angry because you were disrespected? News flash: YOU WERE the disrespectful one! Casey and Severide were not insubordinating you, you displayed incompetence and attitude that is UNWORTHY of becoming a firefighter, let alone a Chief. THEY should be reporting you to the brass.
