I grew up on Rainbow Road in 70's. The Krillig's (sp) were around the corner behind gates. Met one of the daughters one time. The really spooky house was out on Cuba Road on the way to Barrington! If you turned right off of Rainbow on to Cuba, it was up on the hill to the Left @ 1/4 mile. The Krillig property is now sub-divided in numerous home-sites. I spoke with the owner of the house next to the old estate, and he confirmed that there was the remains of a Helipad, long neglected. Cool urban history! Glad I was part of it!

That new house, the one on the right side of the street coming in is very much haunted, me and my friend have gone there many times, I have seen very distinct black figures of people in the windows and all the lights on in the house even tho nobody lives there, and they stay completely motionless. I've coughs orbs with my camera and swerving tire marks that disappear going back down rainbow road towards 22. I live in lake zurich, if you wanna make you're skin crawl a bit, venture up there late

I have a video that i recorded from this property back in 2003 that actually have the ghost of this property on it.

that's exactly what me and my friends did last night.... we pulled over to the side of the street and got out to walk around where the house burnt down. we saw a light turn on in the house and we got the fuck out of there. but on our way out, a car drove by us and took a right into a driveway, and when we looked down the driveway, we didn't see the car or its taillights. Scared us SHITLESS!

The mailbox address appears to be '95' but '92' is still problematic. The '5' in an address is linked to deceptive, fraudulent, and dark-sided activities. Plenty of property grading issues as well as plumbing and electrical that can never be fixed. The 92 property, 11-energy, is linked to plumbing, electrical, theft issues, and the energy makes you feel like you're being watched. The entire stretch of Rainbow and Cuba Roads from 5000 to 5999 are problematic to this day.

WOW! I had no idea they tore it down or antying like that. We would drive past there when we were young. Back in 96 and 97. So weird... It would have been cool to have gone inside that house that was there. And why was it tore down? Maybe I didnt see why or hear??

hahaha Jamie's family owned that place. And the cul de sac was the biggest party place in the 80's! I would worry more about Cuba Rd.

The huge one on the right? We drove by there tonight it looks pretty damn creepy. All the lights where off except for the front porch light. Does anyone actually live there? And whats the story behinde that place?

I heard a story of a mysterious road in Illinois called the "Death Road", but I have not been able to find anything about it… Has anyone else heard of this?

The house on the left is occupied and the one on the right next to the silo is still for sale i think. But as far as the "hauntings" go. Its all bullshit, me and my friends smoke bowls on that street. Same thing with Cuba road, i live in a neighborhood that is less than a quarter mile away from Cuba and i have always driven on it for the past 18 years, and past White Cemetery all the time, nothing has ever happened. I've even shut off my lights multiple times as i drive down it and still nothing

alright look, there is NO mental hospital there. The mental hospital people think is on rainbow Rd in barrington or lake zurich or whatever it is there. THERE IS NO HOSPITAL THERE, people confuse it with the mental hospital in Elgin on RT. 31 right by the state police headquarters.

As for removing it, I work at the local township and there was a work order to remove it from barrington since nobody over there has that addrest and they it was being fill up with trash from kids at the bus stop. A eye swore. I would also email you with the pictures of us removing to show you its the right mailbox too.

There was a mental hospital in that area, but not on Rainbow rd. The Doctor who worked there lived on Rainbow. All that was there was a barn, with a 'hidden' basement, and an upstairs filled with bats, and bat shit. They tore everything down a while ago and now it's an extention to Rainbow rd. All that's there now is a culdesac with a few houses. No reason to go back...
