The passion and energy in this song absolutely soars. Almost sounds like something to come out from Chicago 18 and 19. LOVE IT!

This is the result of not touring for a while, being locked away and the itch to make music drives you to rediscover your musical roots. This is the band's best album in years. You can feel the old passion again in the arrangements and the vocals. Masterful engineering and production. Nice work boys...

This song is so great. Deserves to put them back on top of the charts, along with quite a few other songs on this album. Horns are simply fantastic in this song; as good as ANYTHING they’ve ever done. Too bad it isn’t 1984 again. This album would’ve absolutely *destroyed*

I like Chicago 16, 17, 18, 19 and 21... Chicago 21 was awesome imo... and this new album is definitely the fresh stuffs after Chicago 21... love this track... that iconic melodic sounds...

These lyrics are an incredible feat of the English language from a craft standpoint. To say something so simple in such a meaningful non Cliché manner is beyond rare. Sounds fabulous too. bravo. this needs millions of streams everybody push it hard ! They need the metrics. Lets go guys!

A mix of Nigara Falls and Runaroud I don't want criticism, please. Yeah, I like the person and it's simply a friendly comment.. I believe that if Bill Champlin was still in the band, this would be the "power ballad" of his voice. Because it has this kind of AOR vibe that was the area where Bill Champlin stood out. Perhaps, we would even see him singing the front without a guitar in hand. How I think If this Goodbye is the song with Jason's idea in the voice

This just so much better than the Dave Forrest era when they did all those pop ballads and buried the horns. This definitely has more of a 70’s feel to it. Horns are terrific

Awesome 😎 Just speechless 👏🏻 here's another future Rocky theme. Not sure what RL meant when he said the "3 members were in control" however what I see is that except for LP, WR, LG, TO & EB all the other members current and past seem to have 1 co-credit as writer. Just goes to show EVERYONE has hidden talents. Well done Lee and JD. I like this song. ❤ Yes this track has an 80s feel to it. 😂 Hence the Rocky reference ❤😂😄 mean that as a compliment ❤

Keith Howland wrote Make A Man Outta Me, but I don’t know if he played on it or not.

Personnel on this album were band members at the time Jimmy Pankow on trombone, Lee Loughnane on trumpet, guitar and synth bass (also wrote the song with John Durill), Ray Herrmann on sax, Loren Gold on piano, Brett Simons on bass, Wally Reyes on drums and Keith Howland on guitar. Additional musicians were Tim Jessup on guitar and producer Joe Thomas on additional synthesizer. Brett Simons and Keith Howland both left the band before the album was released.
