About time! I love taking the ATS. I hated taking those very uncomfortable and poorly kept up buses that are always on verge of breaking down and falling apart. They need to improve those buses as well and take better care of them.

I was going to ride the ATS last week. But, parking in the rental car garage was full, and I had to park by the main garage.

ORD Airtrain should be extended past Rental Car Center to Metra Regional Rail Station which is close by

Interesting rails. The train wheels running on this don't have flanges, right? The central rail is what keeps the train in desired direction? Electricity comes via the main rails?

its not like a regular train, the middle rail does guide it but also provides power i believe(as wires run along it), the wide lower rails keep the rubber tires on track, and the outer rails sticking up protect the wheels

My flight arrives late in the evening. The next regional bus will be in the morning. Are there a seats where I can wait til morning? Are baggage trolleys allowed up to this area?

I love those stations! I wish they used them again. When I was in elementary those were open. I am a freshman now and k miss those stations so much . . .

a need ticket for this train if i arrive from international terminal n.5? to take the subway to the Chicago Loop which terminal should I get off at? thanks you

You don't need a ticket; it's free of charge. At Terminal 5 simply board this train and you can get off at either Terminal 1, 2 or 3. Some people say the walk is slightly shorter from Terminal 2, but it's up to you. Then follow the signs to "Trains to City/CTA". Some of the signs will also say "Blue Line trains to city".

Can you ride this without actually flying? I want to check it out because trains but don't wanna get frisked by security for being there for no reason.

Yes, the ATS train is located landside (i.e. in the pre-security area of the airport) and it's free of charge to ride. The entire trip from the MMF to Terminal 1 takes about 10 minutes.
