I was just complaining about other city guides featuring hip, “flavor of the month” places that are indistinguishable from city to city. This video does an incredible job explaining the history and culture of the neighborhood while featuring both traditional and contemporary places. Massive kudos.

There’s a new restaurant in Pilsen called “Rubi’s Tacos” on 18th street and Ada st. Delicious food. And Pilsen is very fun.

Love your content, man.I moved to Chicago 10 months ago and have definitely explored mostly through your recommendations. Pilsen has been a regular and most frequented neighborhood thus far (weekly). Your love for this city and thorough historical content made it much easier to pick up and move to a whole new city from across the country. Blessings to you and yours, & keep up the great work!

Love it lived in Pilsen from 94-98 baptized my 2 kids there ...my beloved late grandfather and my grandmother lived there for some time 70s and had family who grew up there such beautiful memories ❤️ 😢.I love my city and it's neighborhoods we have everything .thankyou for sharing your visit 😊 to Pilsen .

Last time I was in Chicago I stayed in Pilsen at an airbnb. Was a nice quiet neighborhood but you opened my eyes to much more. Will check more of it next time. Much love to you Luis!!!!

Famous son of Czech immigrants who lived on or near Harrison Park was Papa Bear Halas. He could actually walk to the West Side Grounds to watch his favorite team...The Chicago Cubs. Now the park would have been on the other side of the tracks (The Illinois Medical Center).

OMG! My old neighborhood! I used to live on Cullerton and Ashland. I went to St. Pius School and I am Bohimian! I my God Sokols hall. My cousins had their wedding receptions there! My Grandma used to read the Deni Hlasatel! I love it! ❤️❤️❤️

I'm from La Villita over by 26th and Pulaski area but moved away to Kansas almost 28 years ago (at the age of 15), so sadly I never got the chance to experience Chicago as an adult 😢 I am now living vicariously through your content 😁🤗 will you be doing a Little Village tour anytime soon??
