I used to live on Pershing Rd on the South Side "1996-2001". I ate at Tio Luis 3 or 4 times a week. Get three steak or pork tacos to go with beans and rice and pick up a cold six-pack of Modelo. Those were the days.

I used to go to Tio Luis years ago, and yes, they were pretty good. Sure, I see other comments about El Milagro, and yes, great too. An ole fav was Nuevo Leon on 18th, but alas, now gone. Never much cared for the Nuevo Leon over by the jail.
