A burrito as big as a baby. That’s what one Mexican market on Chicago’s South Side is cooking up.
Rudy Martinez owns Martinez Supermarket, a family-owned grocery store and restaurant in Bridgeport at 3301 South Morgan in Bridgeport. He created the “big baby burrito.”
WGN's Mike Lowe reports on the story.

FYI I live in Bridgeport are these people will rip you off they don’t have prices posted and no receipt the food is good it’s One day you’ll pay $15 for a burrito next day you’ll pay $25 for a burrito I’m like did the price go up no it’s still the same OK I’m crazy

Yup I always avoid those kinds of restaurants they tend to give you different prices without notice and it gets annoying having to ask the price for each item.

I use to live in Bridgeport and had to start asking for a receipts because I noticed that at Bridgeport coffee too. The last time I ordered there, the guy at the register added a brownie to my order that I never asked for . I think some places have employees that add things to make up for the stuff they steal. The family dollar in Bridgeport was doing that too.

Good on him if people are happy to pay it. Is it a blatant rip-off? You decide. $60usd is basically $100 Aussie over here. You can eat at The Langham Hotel over here in Melbourne. Not even for $90aud - All you can eat - grilled crayfish (read: lobster), oysters, giant prawns, Peking duck, respectable sushi, steak, roast and it goes on and on. All you can eat. Or you could always buy this instead.

Food prices in Chicago has sky rocketed don't blame the owners having to bring the prices up. It's mainly the suppliers having to figure how to get these items into the city. It's sad seeing my city and people suffering trying to make a living for their families.

Yes absolutely but unfortunately before COVID/inflation, that area of Bridgeport started getting an influx of hipsters & developers into the neighborhood so prices were going to increase regardless. That happened in Pilsen too

Yum. I’m in N.C. now and been to that restaurant after a sox game. They don’t make burritos here like they do in Chi-town. Small and expensive for the most part. Sucks.
