It looks more intimidating than it is. There are about 7 floors (eight if you count the basement) Most of the extra space above is used for events. Floors 6&7 is restaurants. If you know where to go, they have express elevators that save you time and if not, the escalators are pretty efficient. But the real gem is the basement. We have something called a pedway which is an underground tunnel that takes you to some parts of the city. (train station, courthouse, a mall, etc).

It gets expensive at downtown. Parking esp. Many people use the subway or bus. Wear comfortable shoes,your gonna walk alot . Its packed at the lakefront in summer and windy.

I am from Chicago's suburbs and go downtown pretty frequently and it's so cool to have been to the same places as Amber! Love her! Imagine seeing her just waking around!
