Brazilian Composer, Marcos Valle, a legend in music, has given the world another classic! Marcos Valle wrote "So Nice" (phrased at 2:08-2:14 in this recording)back in the '60s; now this collaboration with Robert Lamm is blending 2 marvelous talents! Plus Chicago sounds.....Wonderful!

I keep revisiting Robert's two musical gems on this album, this one and the House on the Hill. Wow, Robert lyrically and musically these two are your best songs. Your writing is back and so is Chicago, look forward to more music from you guys in the future. We all have been missing new Chicago music for a very long time.

Terry would've hated Chicago to go to Bossa nova land, lol. I was kidding, I like this. I hope their next album revisits their early 70s funk and jazz fusion, with some socio poliitical commentary as well.

I honestly like the touch of the female vocalists at the end. I do wish they were heard more often throughout the song. Nonetheless, a rich and flavorful tune! Awesome work gents!

I notice that the extract from 2:08 til 2:12 is from Caetano Veloso's "Samba de Verão" song. I'm brazilian and I found this awesome! This could be a tribute to Laudir as well (RIP). Chicago is an amazing and underrated band. Please come touring in Brazil, specially in Curitiba, where I live. Im a huge fan of yours.

And yes, they include a part of the melody that I have written for Summer Samba(So Nice), recorded also by Caetano. Regarding Laudir, I have a song that we wrote together, entitled Life Is What It Is, that Chicago recorded in their album Chicago XIII.

When John sings songs written for Rhino's Revenge he's fairly good. When he sings songs written for Rick Parfitt he's awful. Songs that Rick sang are in too high a key for Rhino and he really struggles.
