I now lived in Massachusetts, but just was on vacation in Chicago. Chicago hands down is the true winner. I had zero issues downtown Chicago

I was born and raised in Boston and have lived in NYC for most of my adult life. There is absolutely no comparison...Chicago is absolutely a much better city than Boston...in every imaginable way. Try comparing Boston to Cleveland...makes more sense.

Chicago for the win! It is not even a comparison. Chicago is in the top 3 food cities in the country, landing at #2 just behind New York. All the crime stuff you hear is usually in the South and west sides of the city. Just like any city, there will always be crime, but funny when people believe everything they hear on the news. Chicago is booming with rich culture and a plethora of unique neighborhoods. Awesome Bar scene, food scene, the most events hosted of any city, street fairs always happening, sports city, amazing art scene, Orchestra, museums, Downtown is gorgeous, tho it has looked better, but the secret of Chicago is in its amazing neighborhoods. Always something to do in Chicago as the 3rd largest city. Boston is great in its own way too but it is not even in the same league as Chicago.

I love Boston, it was the first city I lived in after leaving the military, I went to college in Boston, I got my first civilian job ever in Boston. Boston will forever have a special place in my heart. However, I moved to Chicago 2 years ago and Chicago is a better city in every single way.

Chicago has 0. Boston kills it in every single category except murders. You guys win that one. We have better jobs. More money. Higher rent. Better food. Insanely better sports. Not sure how Chicago even gets in this conversation. There is nothing nice about Chicago. Fenway way better than Rigley.

Found it left Chicago down... but only watched half... much was old footage too of city scenes that perturbs me. No likes from me sorry and Chicago still is a top 10 global ranking city but multiple rankings.

Boston all the way better food, milder winters, better culture, not to mention Chicago has a lot higher crime and you have better chance of getting robbed or shot in Chicago. even in the downtown/nice areas.

So much about sports. What about Art Museums (Chicago is the winner), symphony orchestras, opera, ballet, live theater ... anything cultural??? Arts scene, classical music scene, film festivals, street fairs, jazz clubs. Sheesh. So shallow.

You stand a much better chance of getting lost while driving in Boston even with a GPS. Both winters suck, Chicago might get colder but Boston gets more snow. Chicago is more livable and affordable. Chicago wins!

Ok so here’s the thing both Chicago && Boston are forgotten cities who has not only lost their touch but also rapidly losing population as we speak Tht said let’s tlk abt todays news And a city thts trending all over tht everyones talkin abt And just dying to visit tht bein the nations 3rd largest city#Houston now some of you may argue Tht Chicago food is better then Boston or vice versa but neither could compare to anything tht Htown has to offer I mean were just#NextGen toptier and the only other city tht even comes close would probably have to be NYC Plus there’s a thing Thts called the Texas triangle which includes Houston Austin DFW &&San Antonio plus can’t forget abt Amarillo corpus Christi Galveston Arlington&&Midland amongst others just basically all the major cities in the state whereas outside of Chicago && Boston there’s really nothing else to Illinois && Massachusetts but a bunch of farmlands And olden villages hell might as well be living in ancient history being in either one of those states And Thank God🙏🏾Texas is surrounded by the beautiful Gulf and lakes🤠🤠🤠
