Yess omg I was just thinking about and missing ur videos with ur bro!! I wish it was a longer video 😆 One thing I can say is tho because Chicago is more conservative its more difficult to network and find a spouse for marriage because there is less intermingling. I think because Dallas is more liberal and they have an abundance of Muslim 3rd spaces, men and women can congregate outside the masjid environment to network and make connections for marriage more easily and effectively.

Just came back from Dallas…..Zabiha scene is average at best. It’s an upgrade for folks who move from like Alabama or Kansas. Also the weather in Chicago is better. Who likes burnt yellow grass? And the Cowboys suck.

Dallas is overrated. I love Qalam, Roots, etc., but I think it's missing actual roots - family, scholarship, institutions, etc. All very new without facing the test of time
