I grew up mere blocks from here. This I believe is Broadway and Argyle. It's always been a nice, small Vietnamese populated area. I grew up on Winthrop. I no longer live in Chicago so this takes me back. Thanks for posing!

For those saying that these parts of uptown are dangerous, not all of Chicago is like that. I pass by this area every day and enjoy every last bit of it. Videos like this are much needed as it shows what Chicago truly looks like, such as its neighborhood and the people around it. Please consider checking out my channel too

first comment and second like. good content friend, much needed documentation. I've been looking for videos of Chicago that aren't just the downtown financial areas.....I want to see where more average people live in Chicago. these streets remind me of St. Louis where I lived for two years....but much more dense and populated of course.

I grew up in uptown in the 90s and haven't seen it since I move out of the state in early 2000s it's odd how it feels the same but looks so much different. Thanks for the video

I live in this neighborhood, Uptown. There are lots of Vietnamese and Chinese restaurants in Uptown Chicago.

Its a little better there now than in the early 90s when I lived in Uptown, but it is still not a great area.
