The Oops map might just be the greatest geoguessr map ever. Like, seriously. Edit: Played that map a few times. Some locations are just nuts. Beautiful.

Shlisselburg comes from the German name Schlüsselburg given to the fortress by Peter the Great meaning "Key-fortress"

14:38 if you move around a bit on this location it looks like these girls tripped and fell (possibly intoxicated) while crossing the street. Thankfully doesn’t seem like there was a car accident of any sort, just them holding up traffic lol

The rail line in the Lake Map is pretty heavily used, forming part of the Union Pacific railroad's transcontinental route. It's also used by Amtrak's California Zephyr, sadly the train crosses in the middle of the night so you don't get to see the views over the lake.

The Oops map needs to happen a lot more. The Wisconsin guy is the absolute most American thing ever. Next time your European friends ask you what it’s like living in America you just send that picture and continue on with your day.
