This SP4449 is one Awesome Steam Engine.SP 4449 was making a Cross country trip. When SP 4449 stoped in Naperville the Whole place went crazy!

Love the Leslie a 200 air horn very rare to hear that on the 4449 usually you hear her whistle pretty cool not all steam locomotives have horn a very select few so this is really cool

LJL RailYard The horn is normally used at larger crossings and stations to get people out of the way.

The horn was used much more often than the whistle when she was in revenue service. The whistle is only the main warning device now because it's more associated with steam locomotives and popular with the public.

if you dont know rhe horn is called its called a leslie a200 sp daylights used these in earlier year like 1930 - 1950

@cool45010 4449 is doing all the pulling work. The Amtrak P-42 is just providing HEP (head-end power; air conditioning and light) for the cars and dynamic braking.
