She is teaching her not to grab the food and to be patient. If she did not teach her the food would be everywhere. And she not starving. Baby monkeys are like this when nursing and being weened from their mothers. They freak out and act like they are starving to death. All baby monkeys throw tantrums like this, and when they do, their mothers discipline them by biting their hands and pulling their hair. I think this woman is being patient with her

There is a reason certain animals should never be pets, baby rhesus monkeys just are so complex brain and behaviour wise, they are not human babies or dolls. And that hysteria is actually a chemical thing that happens when the infant feels like something they need for survival is threatened, its a survival thing and they actually cannot control the flailing and twitching- very interesting to be honest when you look into it all! What would usually work to train say a puppy can confuse and even traumatise these animals as their so similar to humans brain wise but they are wild creatures so a lot of human things just does not make sense to them, like wiping their face after every mouthful thats just completely stupid to a monkey so they get stressed as hell with that stuff 😅 its a huge reason that their not legally allowed to be pets, some animals just cannot be pets without severe abuse forcing them to behave how we want them to which in turn traumatises them and makes them exhibit disturbing behaviour you rarely or never see in the wild 😢

The three dots are to the right of "Download". Not sure you can see all that on your phone, but it's definitely there if you use a laptop.
