Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken + mushrooms (recipe)
Sauce alfredo
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 oz butter
- 1.5 cups parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic (minced)
- salt ‪@addsaltandpeppertotaste149‬+ pepper to taste
- 3 whole mushrooms (sliced)
Fettuccine
- 6 oz fettuccine
- water
- salt
Chicken breast
- 4 to 6 oz
- grilled or air fried
*cook chicken at 360 degrees in air fryer or oven ahead
Herbs
- basil leaves (minced)
- salt ‪@PrimalVideo‬+ pepper to taste
*rub chicken with basil, salt and pepper, put in air fryer
Procedure
STEP 1 - put water on for pasta (4 to 6 oz dry fettuccine)
STEP 2 - add pasta to boiling water, add 1 tsp salt to water and cook till al dente
STEP 3 - add 2 cups heavy cream on top, bring to almost bubbling, trim heat to half, then add 1.5 cups parmesan cheese, (save some for atop fettuccine), add to heavy cream
STEP 4 - cook till cheese is melted throughout
STEP 5 - add fettuccine to sauce, mix in and enjoy! :)
