Chapli kabab (Urdu: چپلي کباب‎) is a Mughlai-influenced Pashtun-style minced kabab, usually made from ground Beef, Mutton, Lamb with various spices in the shape of a patty.
The name Chapli is said to be derived from the Pashto word chaprikh, meaning "flat" - alluding to the kebab's light, round and flattened texture.

INGREDIENTS:
Chicken mince preferably thigh pieces 500 gms
Onion finely chopped 2 medium sized.
Coriander/ Hara dhania 1/4 bunch finely chopped
Green chillies 4-5 finely chopped
Tomatoes 2 medium sized deseeded and finely chopped.
Salt 1 tsp heaped
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander seeds crushed 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds toasted and crushed 1 tsp heaped
Carom seeds / ajwaen 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
Anardana / grinded pomogranate seeds 1 tsp heaped
Ginger garlic paste fresh 1 tsp each
Red chilli flakes (kuti lal mirch) 1/2 tsp
Cornmeal (Makai ka ata) 1/4 cup.
Egg 1 medium size.
(If using breast pieces instead of thighs add 1 tbsp clarified butter or ghee in the mince marination)
