🌸 The biggest gift a mother can give her child is her time, attention, beautiful moments shared together and you do that in such a marvelous way with delicious and nutritious foods, dearest Ayşenur abla. Goodness Aysenur, you are such a blessing to your family and friends. And a blessing to everyone who watches you and learns from you. Your borek are always extra special but I think the eggplant dish was my favourite of everything in this wonderful feast! I especially love the Ottoman host gift at the end. It is so refreshing to see a birthday meal that is made with love by mom (with a little help from the birthday girl and her friends😉). So often, in America, mother's do not cook a birthday meal but instead spend an extravagant amount of money to feed & entertain the birthday boy/girl & all of their friends at a destination party. Hundreds of dollars are spent. I really wonder how those memories fair in later years. Thank goodness, I grew up in the 1960s and 1970s. I still remember the epic birthday party we had in our backyard, bobbing for apples & other fun outdoor games. My mother made a Mini Mouse cake by hand. Best birthday party ever!😊

Linda mesa! A sopa com fatinha de milho é muito interessante, vou fazer. Por favor, além da batata, cebola e alho, manteiga e óleo, qual o outro ingrediente? Eu fiz a berinjela recheada com frango, , aquela que você colocou em uma pequena tigela , embrulho com as fatias de betingelas e levou ao forno com molho de tomate, que delícia e linda apresentação. How much mayo and yogurt are added to the beet root salad?

It depends on the veggies you have. We used around 3/4 cup yogurt and maybe 2-3 tbsp mayonnaise. You can adjust to your taste and add more if needed
