I can't wait to make this 🍲 it's getting colder here in MI it's too soon for me to assess the New Year. Just thankful for our lives, have lost a couple of love ones, just at the end of 2023. The soup looks delicious 😋 love you both. Thanks Mario for asking your mother to post this recipe.

Most people don't realize couscous is actually a teensy tiny pasta! I will certainly make this recipe MaeMae!!!! And I love parsnips! You mentioned you normally use Israeli couscous. It's a little bit larger pasta than the tiny couscous isn't it? I have a hard time finding it but I like it better too. Thank you so much for showing us how to make this soup!!! It's definitely a good comfort soup on cold winter days!!!! Hope you and Mr. Tuck are doing well!🥰 We are getting ready for some bad weather up in northeast Tennessee. Snow and nighttime temps in the single digits next week. I'm praying it won't be bad. I definitely want your cookbook when they're ready to buy!!!!❤

Yes you’re correct Terri and you can tell that when you look closely at it… the next time I use this style I will cut down on the amount I use, but I really like it… I don’t know if my son has use this style before or not if so hasn’t mentioned it. But it’s a wonderful addition to your broth soups when you like a little more body to the liquid… do you use couscous you would like to share with me 🥰 Thanks for watching 🥰😇🙏🏾

@@MaeMaesHappyTable It's been a long time since I used couscous. When I did fix it, I fixed some as a side dish instead of potatoes. Back then I just poured it in some chicken broth to a consistency of mashed potatoes, with some butter and fresh parsley. It was good to me but my husband said he preferred mashed potatoes!😘 I'm definitely going to get more couscous to use in soups!!!! Love you MaeMae😘
