Interesting reactions from the ponies to the horses. Little Spidey telling Reintje that he is her small friend and no threat. He is so cute...except when he is trying to be the little stallion.

It is so important for the horses to get used to their new stable. By taking the time and being loving and patient, the mares get to know they are in a safe new environment. What a wonderful, caring, loving owner she is. 😍❤️

The Queen couldn't even be bothered with the ponies lol. I love how her girls follow her lead. They are all stunning but Uniek has that extra something special, she carries herself like royalty. When you get her approval, you worked for it.

I just love the way Queen Uniek carries herself, so elegant and regal as she surveyed her new kingdom. I laughed as she gazed haughtily at the ponies “who are these horselings and what are they doing here in my barn”! All the changes must feel strange yet wonderful, blessings to all at Stal H.💕

The ladies love their new arena so much that they don‘t wanna go inside! 😂👍Interesting to see that Uniek immediately reacts to your whistle, but decides to do what she wants… she is the queen and has her own mind! Think it‘s really good that the three are together at their new home, that becomes cristal clear when you walked them around in the stable to get them used to everything. They need each other. And they liked the action (and food) Faya was bring into the stable very much👍 Uniek completely ignoring the ponies looked like that she was asking herself what these mini-horses are doing here? Dieuwke seemed to have become a bit more careful when the big ladies walked around as if he understans now that it could be dangerous for him to be too wild at the wrong place. Goedzo! Seems that all is going well at Stal H👍♥️👍 Curious to see the funny things you were planning for the day!

What this 15 minute video shows you more than anything is how important it is to have horses, especially mares, housed with other horses. They need each other and rely on each other. Imagine what their life must be like when they are housed alone without the comfort of other horses around them. I've seen people buy a horse, love it to death, then leave it alone for the next 10+ years. So, this is becoming quite a project. One young male pony (think Johnny) and two female ponies. Three supreme Friesian mares and possibly Rising Star yet to come. AND, one baby stallion already born at Stal H! Will we see a video on that birth, I hope so? I haven't seen any pasture land yet so I am waiting to hear more about that. Yvonne looking more like herself but having still to overcome a life threatening traumatic experience. I think she'll welcome all the help she can get. The last nine months or so have been tough to endure just watching it but the best is yet to come. Rising Star will have to be put to the test and properly trained if he meets the criteria. He may have to be sold or sent elsewhere to maximize his potential. Then we have the kids growing up and good to see Faya still participating in the program. I think the best is yet to come...

People who don’t know horses won’t appreciate how important it is to acclimate horses to their new surroundings. These noble ladies are really checking things out, but Uniek looks extra tense (look at her mouth) during her tour. Ah, prey animals❣️

I have learned so much about horses from Yvonne. I learned from previous that any small change can cause them to be nervous. It is very interesting for me because I have always been afraid of horses and now that I understand more I do not feel afraid.

I think I’d want to be reincarnated as one of Yvonne’s herd and Rein Sr’s if only equines all over the world were as beloved and as cherished as these beauties. I enjoyed watching you and Geertje put salt blocks up and bring in your small herd. It is very interesting to watch how you gently introduce the horses to their new home slowly and with care, and how interesting to see their personalities with the ponies. I'd never had thought Spidey would be so submissive to Reintje. We can see how much lovely, beautiful Saly needs a herd to keep her feeling secure.

Yvonne I'm impressed with the number of comments you get!!! You have a lot of friends all over the world, understandable because you are all such nice folks and so good to your animals it's really a pleasure to know you even if just online too bad we'll never meet in person but I'm too old for that now. Still it makes me feel young watching you so thank you and your family and friends humans are all the other critters. I do have pets and a nice yard full of birds a creek and redwood trees oaks roses etc. In my childhood in same house there used to be a barn, a well house etc across the street and horses in the neighborhood but now it's all built on. Please read the little story I attached to my other comment. I realize you probably don't have time to read all our comments but it gives you something fun to do if you have insomnia LOL 😂.

Most of all my soul is comforted by Uniek, Saly and Reintje together always!!! However, Geertje and Yvonne are so super; they always make me laugh. These three Friesians have always been in my heart; Yvonne so thankful you and Rein Sr worked this out. Love the ponies; Spidey,I love, he is naturally becoming a teenager. Love to all.❤️💙🌈🍀‼️

It’s always wonderful to see Yvonne and Geertje spending time together. Their friendship is so special, and we love seeing them with their new performances! 😄👍 Uniek, Reintje, and Saly are so beautiful! It was amazing to see Queen Uniek taking her role as the boss, and the other horses obeying her. They sure respect her for who she is! ❤️❤️❤️ The horses can’t stop admiring their new home. They love it so much! 🐴❤️🏡 I like Spidey! Seeing him with his wild, playful personality is so much fun to watch! His personality is pretty identical to Johnny and Rinse Janko, who are also my favourite! 💙🐴🐴🐴💙 It was so beautiful seeing Faya feeding the horses treats. The horses love her so much! At 4:35 when all of the mares were looking at you when you whistled, I exhaled. What a striking visual image of The Queen, Saly, and Reintje. These mares are beautiful, and I'm glad that they are together with Yvonne and her family.

@@BellyLaugher How fast can you say anthropomorphizing animal behavior? 🙃😉 As prey animals, they're simply on high alert, especially Uniek, because of the strange new sights, sounds, and scents around them. Once they know there is no danger, and with Yvonne's presence, they'll calm down. After all, this is only the day after moving in.

The 3 mares must be trilingual. They seem to understand Yvonne no matter what language she speaks. When Yvonne asked Reintje to come close so she could remove the halter, Reintje knew exactly what to do. They all love each other and completely trust Uniek. Uniek was really checking the place out to be sure it was ok for her herd. What a smart thing to do to help them become more comfortable.Goedzo Yvonne!.

I think Reintje will be the one to adjust the quickest. She has always seemed to me to be the calmest away from other horses, although she does not like to lead when riding away from home. Saly and Uniek both get nervous away from other horses. I wonder what Yvonne would say...???🧡🧡

I love Spidey! Glendy and Daisy seem to be a little more tolerant of Spidey these days. Uniek and the ladies are such a pleasure to watch. They all carry themselves beautifully but Uniek does have that Royal flare❤. My curiosity is on high alert for the next(some fun things) video 🍎❤️🍎🇨🇦

Here in the states we have large blocks we put on the floor of their stall. Or small blocks like shown here hanging, but we put them in a salt holder and secure it to the wall in their stall.
