Chief Obafemi Awolowo, (may the perpetual peace and blessings of the Almighty Olorun Olodumare be upon His great soul) . Papa Awolowo was a great prophet, he was loved by all and feared by many. Thank God for Obafemi Awolowo - a gem presented on the platter of gold to Nigeria. Nigeria blew the opportunity to reproduce nationwide Western Region's Free Education and Healthcare Services. Nigeria blew the opportunity to reproduce nationwide the trans-regional highways, sports stadia like Liberty Stadium, skyscrapers like Cocoa House, broadcast stations like WNTV (Awolowo's work - all on cocoa export money in the 1960s). And here we are...Nigeria today, in the stranglehold of the antithesis of all Awolowo stood for. God did what he could for Nigeria. Rest well, Papa Awo. Thank you for the confidence that your dedication to the value of the Black man instilled in your people any and everywhere in the world. Rest in Peace, sir.

@abiakinniyi11414 жыл бұрын
they never stated its Ogunde though... its Ogunde's song for Obafemi Awolowo.. does that need to be spelt out to you?.. please go and study your late grandfathers work.
@funmilayoogunde57154 жыл бұрын
I disagree it should be spelt out. Even google posted Obafemi Awolowo as being the image of my Hurbert Ogunde my Late Grandfather. So if they got it wrong you can't expect everyone that does not know of my Late Grandfather to automatically know how he looked like. You should make it clear who is the focus of reference here is and how they looked like in your displace. By the way I know who my Late Grand father was, so I do not need to do any research on that. This is for those that do not know of my Late Grandfather. I also never said that the song shared on KZfaq was not made by my late Grandfather here either.
@funmilayoogunde57154 жыл бұрын
It can and should be spelt out for those who don't know of Awolowo or Ogunde. I mentioned earlier that even almighty Google got that wrong. Is that a crime to clarify this? What is this research you keep talking about? Did I tell you I do not know of of my Late Grandpa or the songs he made in the first place?

No one stated this was a picture of chief Hubert ogunde, the picture depicts to the subject of this song which is chief Obafemi Awolowo

The song is not about your grandfather (Ogunde), its about his Lord and Oluwo whose photo is proudly displayed there. You should not even be associating yourself with baba Ogunde or even the Oodua race if you don't know who Obafemi Awolowo is
