Thank you for your genuine and heartfelt reaction. Money Game Part 3 is, in my opinion, Ren’s best work to date, and the bar he previously set was already incredibly high to begin with. It is an amazing and thought-provoking piece of performance art. At the beginning of Jimmy’s life, “one year old and his first words were’ mine, mine, gimme’; two years, old he was walking; three years old, walking quickly; four years old he was running around the pavement of his city. Then, “40 years old, and he cursed the words ‘mine, mine, gimme’; 41, he wasn’t walking; 42, not walking quickly; 43, never running around the pavement of his city.” ROM (@ROMsquad) during their reaction pointed out the irony that Jimmy was focused on chasing wealth and fame only to lose his ability to run as a result.

When the car beeped and you told it to shut up, then paused... and appologized to the car. That is why I come back here 😊. You dont hold back your emotions. But you always try to express them in a kind and gentle manner. This video definitely had me frazzled while watching it and I might have lashed out at a random car horn if it interupted me also 😂 but it was the pause and the appology after is what really sets you apart as a kindhearted person. This video was and still is a hard one for me to get through. I dont like guns and when he gets to the end and is casually waving the gun around I have a very visceral reaction to that. And yeah... the waterworks start about half way through the music video for me also. We come here because we love Ren, but thats not all we love Chief. Another trooper here - waited to watch your reaction until I had time to properly sit down and appreciate it - and so glad I did. Another beautiful reaction - when it comes to Ren, never hold back the tears as that is a huge part of the experience it seems - I've lost count of the times I've wiped tears away. The writing through the whole song is sensational but when the strings kick in, they transcend to an entirely new insane level. I struggle to get my head round how Ren can see centuries old human behaviour and society throughout the world, completely deconstruct it and smash it to pieces then proceed to hold a mirror up to us the viewer and the world at large so we can see the damage we are doing and the dangers that lie ahead - and then lead us to a possible solution - in the space of NINE minutes. They should be teaching "the works of Ren" in all educational establishments.

Yes, that's Ren playing piano at the beginning! He also composed the music for piano and strings! He directed the video and produced the music/audio. It was recorded live but it's not quite one take. They had to make a single edit, before the water, as the 'rain machine' was being tempermental. :) Yet another incredible and masterful performance from Ren and overall, an absolute masterpiece... again! :)

I have to share something with you. My mother was raised during the depression time and she always used the phrase grocery trading instead of grocery shopping because that is what they did years ago. They traded things for groceries.
